Reviews

This is the book I should have bought first for my new Canon! The big manual for the Canon is more complete than this field guide, but that is the problem: it tells me much more than I want to know about a subject and the excess slows me down in finding the essentials I need. This field guide is much more at the level I want when look for something that is a current need. Also, this book is spiral bound rather than bound with tightly packed pages. When trying to master a new camera, I want to be able to put the book down on the table while I fuss with the camera controls without having the book lose my place: the spiral binding is "made to order" in that regard.
