Reviews

I bought this book shortly after purchasing my first Digital SLR camera. As a point and shoot user, I was literally brand new to the art of photography and thought this book would be a great introduction to SLR photography and the terms and equipment involved. The book was not as entry level as I had hoped and so I found myself in over my head a bit while reading the book. The author is very thorough and gives many visual examples regarding the techniques he is addressing, so I do think the book will serve as a useful reference guide for a long time. But if you are like me and are starting from scratch, you might want to start with a more basic book.
